The clients contacted Valley Quest Design to get help with renovating the aging landscaping of their forever home, into the outdoor space in which they would want to spend time with their grandkids and family dogs; Their design wishlist included new shrubs and perennials, revised bedlines, a signature arched sidegate entry to the backyard, a new brick paver walkway entry to the front door, flagstone pavers around the patio areas, recycled rubber play surfacing under the play structure, and decomposed granite for some more utilitarian uses. To address the significant stormwater volumes flowing across their yard between neighboring properties, the clients were amenable to fashioning a dry creekbed feature. Valley Quest Design provided site analysis, concept design, renderings, construction documents and details, as well assistance with soliciting the project for bid to a contractor.
